Students will receive 56 Hours of in-truck training: 36 hours basic & 20 hours highway practical/ride along, and 24 hours of one-on-one, in-truck training, with six hours devoted to written & road tests.

  • Minimum Grade 10 Level in Math

  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence and a three-year drivers abstract

The program includes:

    • Standard First Aid & CPR (Level One)

    • CSTS & WHMIS

    • PDIC (Professional Driver Improvement Course)

    • RSTS

    • TDG

  • Alberta Air Brake Endorsement

  • Tools and Engines Workshop

  • Job Shadow and Ride-along

  • Drivers Math

  • She Works: Financial Tool Kit

  • Fitness: Healthy Choices for Productive Work

  • WBF Workplace Culture ™ (Best practices for working in construction)

  • Earned Employment Referrals, Job Search Training and Job Retention Support


The WBF Workplace Culture Awareness© module is designed specifically to help women understand the expectations of the construction workplace and prepare women for that environment.
