Heavy Equipment Technician 

Get your ticket to a dream career with Women Building Futures’, fully-paid, apprenticeship-to-journeyman program!

This program provides students with the practical and academic training required to become a Heavy Equipment Technician with the ultimate goal of achieving their journeyman certificate. This industry driven, education partnership provides high quality training through annual rotating work placements with our employer sponsors.

Successful Edmonton program applicants will be expected to live and work in Edmonton for all 4 years of their apprenticeship. Applicants who are interested in living and working in Fort McMurray during their apprenticeships are encouraged to apply to the Pathway to Apprenticeship: Heavy Equipment Technician Fort McMurray program.
